I can see clearly now.......

the dirt is gone! I didn't realize how bad my windows really were! Plowbaby picked out tons of Halloween window clings at Wal-Mart the other day. She has been bugging me about putting them up. I finally let her put a couple on the dishwasher, and told her that the windows had to be washed first. The clings wouldn't stick to the windows as dirty as there were! Next day, first thing, HelperGirl gets up and asks to wash the windows! We get a bucket of window wash, some wash cloths and old dish towels and set to washing. She had a blast. It was even more fun to do the inside when PlowMommy (my new nickname.....according to Plowbaby) had the Windex squirt bottle. "Just a little more here mommy.......one more time......now over here.......one more time......you missed a spot mommy-squirt here.......and on, and on, and on....." You get the idea. She was starting to drive me nuts........until......I remembered all those days at Gma and Gpa's when I was the one wanting to clean the sliding glass patio door with Windex. I must have driven Gma crazy! (Not Grandpa tho.......he had a fondeness for Windex......that's a whole other story tho!)

Then she had to get my camera and take pictures of her clings. She took these (with a little help from me).Funny story about the pumpkins in the above pic: She found these in the garage a couple of weeks ago when she was playing outside. (I was in the house) I walk by the front door, see them and ask " What are you doing with the pumpkins?" Her response. "I'm decorating".....like, duh Mom, can't you see what I'm doing! She also picked out the farmer scarecrow for the chair.

Do you see a "theme" with the clings???? Yes, they all look like Bootsie!

Do you have your Halloween decorations up yet? What are you going to be for Halloween?

Happy trails

Enjoyed reading your blog. I'm new at this blogging thing, but our daughter just left for Malawi (Africa) and created one. Then I saw the link to yours on some Ag site my husband left open and found it interesting. Mentioned this to hubby, and he knows yours from the internet, and he said you got some parts from us once (corn head, I think).

Enjoy your little girl! You've probably heard it lots of times before, but they sure do grow up quickly!

Hope your windows stay clean longer than mine did next-to-the last time I did them. It had been so dry that we had lots of gravel dust on the screens, got a little rain, and then time to re-wash the windows.
