Well, Plowbaby got a pretty good haul for Christmas. In fact, I think there are more toys and games in my livingroom than at ToysRUs and Wal-Mart!

It was a great day. I wish I could keep her 3 forever. This was such a fun year to watch her, she really "got it" this year. Not only did she "get" the presents/Santa part, she really got the Christmas story of Baby Jesus and His birth. It was soooo cool to hear her re-tell the story in her own 3 year old version.

Let's see, we'll do a check list of her list:

But the big thing this year was the playhouse. Uncle Opie built Plowbaby the BEST,COOLEST playhouse EVER! (Thanks Ope, and Tim for your help too!) They went way above and beyond what I ever imagined when this project started (Sunday nite, before Christmas!) Plowboy and I purchased the materials, and Ope was the contractor and Ope and Tim were the labor. Of course, Tim wanted it to be fully electric with central heat and air. It didn't go that far.....yet! The playhouse isn't quite finished yet, we have to bring it to our house and sit it on site, assemble the porch (and the IMPORTANT mailbox). When it warms up in the spring, we'll paint the trim.....Sleeping Beauty Pink.

"More toys in the living room than in Toy's 'R Us." LOL.

I'm thinking I'm gonna need the leaf blower to move the toys out of the way sometimes.

That's a cool playhouse. We got our 4 year old a nicely contructed dollhouse, which took me until 1:30 am to put together. When she saw it Christmas morning she was actually jumping up and down clapping her hands. Priceless.

Enjoy every moment, they grow REALLY fast.

Neat playhouse. She will really enjoy it! After we talked on Christmas Day, we went to see "Secret Life of Bees" The house in the movie is the color of pink I imagined when you said is going to be painted Disney pink!

Sixteen years ago today there was a terrible ice storm across Kansas. Sixteen years ago today there was also a wedding in the United Methodist Church in Cawker City, Kansas. That's where Plowboy and Plowgirl officially became PlowFamily! I'm glad that life has led us down the path that it has. We have a good life and a great little family. A day in the life......................

of me......during planting season. Most days go something like this: Up and at 'em after the "birthday's" on the morning show. (Ok, so 6:47 isn't really that early in the whole scheme of things!) Check email, facebook, newspapers. Off to a shower. Wake up Plowbaby and Plowboy, and get both moving. (not necessarily an easy feat!) Change the channel to "toonies" for Plowbaby, and try to get her to eat some breakfast and change her clothes and get ready for work/school. The goal is for her and I to be out the door BY 9. Again, I know....not real early.....but YOU haven't tried to get Miss Pokey around in the morning! Also in the mean time, get some laundry going, and dishes cleaned up from the night before. Drive up to the farm (or the last field from last night) to find the empty NH3 tanks from the night before. Hook up and head toward AgChoice.
